SuomeksiArchaeological visits
"Archaeological visits" pilot aims to guide visitors to archaeological
sites and to give information about sites. There are 82 sites at Southern
Finland to choose from.
User can locate nearest sites with this pilot. It is also possible
to find sites with commune name. All sites have driving instructions
and their position can be shown on map. Sites have text-based information
and some of them have photographs of finds and structures. There is
a possibility to get PDF-information sheet of some sites to user's
e-mail.
Pilot can be used with wap-enabled mobile phones. It will be operating
during summer 2005 and until further notice it will be free of charge.

mobile phone. Pilot's language is Finnish.

Some sites have extra information, pictures of finds or reconstruction drawings.
